GanjaBaby asked:

If you found it in the street?

Or do you consider this to be stealing?

Yes I would cash it. There’s no name on the ticket.
If I don’t cash it someone else will.

But I would definitely donate a large portion of it so I might not go to hell for it

If you found it out in the open sitting on street. Hell yeah cash it. If you saw a man drop it then you “happened to come across it” then that is a little shady, however I would still cash it. :)

If it’s on the street, it belongs to anyone. So, if I pick it up, I’m gonna cash it in.

i’d cash it because a lotto ticket states that it is a “bearer instrument”, which means it “belongs” to whoever claims it (unless it’s signed, then it’s some kind of theft or fraud)

Of course, not like you could put a found ad in the newspaper. If you are stupid enough to lose it then it’s fair game.

yes, the chances of the person finding it is so so slim. I mean this might sound bad but if the person doesnt find it then i would want the money over someone else getting it.

There is no way to find out how it belonged to, yes you feel that you wish you could give it to the person but there just is no way. So i would have to tell you to go ahead and cash it.

If I found it and there wasn’t someone looking for their ticket, I’d most definitely cash it in.

No, I wouldn’t cash it. I consider it to be stealing someone else’s winnings if I cashed it in.
